‘Pretty Vacant’ by Martijn Sandberg consists of a light greenish phosphorescent figuration on white cardboard. The text ‘We’re Pretty Vacant’ refers to a Sex Pistols song. After illumination, the loaded sentence glows in the dark and then slowly fades until it is ‘empty’ again; zero content.
